Bhutanese latest movie, The Shadows
Shadows have the tendencies to break the boundary of movie in Bhutan.
Shadows is the first Bhutanese movie to be owned by all the members of the film. Shot in Thimphu and remote and unforgettable regions of Paro. According to Tshering Dorji, writer and the director of Shadows say, "for me this can be described as the work of art."
Shadows is a suspense tragedy movie made by the teams of Happy Valley Youth Entertainment, a group of youths based in Thimphu. It is based on the pure Bhutanese taste, with all the old cultures and new fashions wrapped in it as one solid package. The story portrays the lives our parents in olden days had lived and the fun that we have now, in this modern and fast developing nation. The movie also reviews some of the serious issues that our youth face these days. "Movie making isn't just entertaining, it educating", Sherab Thai, a young and aspiring filmmaker said. Shadows tells the story in action rather, and sinks the knowledge. A good movie will make the audience realize about his or her life and bad movie will make the audience realize the loss of his time and money after watching the film. Shadows would give the feeling of greatness in self, which is one important aspects of our life. Do not go to watch shadows and confuse the meaning of shadows in your entire life.Thank You Tshering Dorji for the contribution. If there are any mistakes, do let me know.
