What is GNH Films Prodcution and what does it do?
GNH refers to Gross National Happiness and it is the guiding philosophy for development in Bhutan. Long time back in 1972, his majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo (Dragon king of Bhutan) Jigme Singye Wangchuk, gave birth to the phrase " GNH is more important than GDP", when he was just 18 years old. Despite his age and maturity, he had the vision to lead his country and the people peacefully what so ever may be the situation. since then, people and the government of Bhutan started working on the phrase to see the change in the mind of the people of the world to experience peace and prosperity in the heavenly world.
Not far from now, the philosophy gave a stretching hand to western countries and was appreciated by all the government and the people of western countries, for which we would like to thank them.
GNH Films production is struggling to create a genre of films, which we can proudly called as "ours". We are also concerned about the changing world and the impact of globalization, which would lead to heavy damage on the mother earth. GNH philosophy is enrich with human values, which have the tendency to make a positive impact on everyone who wish to change. Our films will not only try to entertain people but we will take a time in educating the society on various important issues.
